Who is Jon Evans?

"A father, husband and photographic artist...  With a decade of experience in photographing people, places and things, i feel privileged to be doing what i love best.

As a wedding photographer, my approach marries photojournalism and fine art portraiture.  Capturing those fleeting candid moments is only part of my job.  For me, it's composing and directing the family portrait session that tells the story.  It's at this time that we pull together all the family to create not only beautiful photographs but also images that evoke feeling.

My passion for photography started in the commercial advertising world shooting campaigns for some of the areas top ad agencies and magazines.   While I continue to photograph advertising assignments and balancing both worlds it's the couples i meet and work with that make it all worth it.

There's no better job in the world then being a photographer.  I love what I do and I bring that enthusiasm with me on each and every shoot."
